Awesome job! I love the colors and the vines on the front. I also really like the door for some reason.

I'll have to play with this in game to see if there's anything else but right away I'm noticing that, yes, there is quite a bit different with this style in terms of perspective. This will be somewhat problematic when dealing with layering. I may ask you to push the front of the building slightly back inwards a little but we can worry about that later. Awesome job right now!

I'm going to change the perspective to look like the older inn, so if you just wait a bit you can choose between the two and decide which you think looks and works better.

Those street lamps are really cool. Has a hint of Victorian style in it!

That actually looks really cool. I would love to incorporate these effects. For a banner it looks great of course too. Nice little scene you got there

Yeah I dunno how advanced we can get with lighting effects and stuff but I'd love if we could have lamp posts actually give off light and certain monsters eyes glow in the dark or something.

Well in the previous version of this game I had a fully functional day and night system.

I had lights that only turned on at night which looked really cool. We can definitely have the lamps give off light! The light can be any color and can--to an extent--affect other objects in the game.

It will definitely make the area around it brighter as well as the characters and stuff. We can make some monster's eyes glow in the dark but that will be slightly more difficult.

Light effects can also be animated (ie flickering, undulating, etc)

In case you want to start thinking of some light effects, the technique I use to render them requires that the light effects be slightly transparent PNGs (the more transparent the dimmer). And the color of the PNG will be subtracted from the other colors, meaning that whatever color you want the light you need to make it be the negative of that color. Example, if you want a white light I would need a black image. This is gonna be so cool

I'll make a list of stuff that I think should have light effects or glow in the dark soon. Would be cool to have some type of plant that glows in the dark too as well as mobs.

Here's a sheep that's as bored as I am. n_n I think it's a bit big though.
